Kharis - Alicia Crossley

My latest piece is for recorder superstar Alicia Crossley.

Many years ago I told Alicia that I would write her a solo piece. It feels good to finally live up to my word.

Kharis (pronounced har-iss) is a lively 3 minute piece for solo soprano recorder. Kharis means grace in Greek. The Kharites, or Graces, are the Three Goddesses of grace, beauty, joy, adornment, festivity, song and dance.
